Prime Garden Review

Write for us

Prime Garden Review welcomes original pitches that help readers understand garden culture and observation. We are interested in clear, grounded ideas about planting, design, seasonal change, garden history and wildlife, written for curious readers rather than specialists alone.

What makes a strong pitch

Suggest one focused subject, the question the piece will answer and the main idea readers should take away. Tell us why it matters beyond a list of tips, what makes your angle distinct, and how you would explain any specialist terms. A useful pitch has a clear scope and does not depend on unsupported claims or a promise that one approach suits every garden.

Contributions we welcome

We consider explanatory features, thoughtful comparisons, historical context and observation-led pieces that give readers a new way to understand gardens. Submissions should be original, carefully written and specific about where conditions or preferences may change the answer. Do not send confidential information or material that you do not have the right to share.

How to send an idea

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief note about your proposed approach. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a full manuscript.
